We now have two ways to book a create-your-own art workshop. You can select a glassblowing experience or a painting experience. Above are the two links to help you get a reservation, so just click and begin your journey of fun! Please note that you can schedule one to 30 people for a glassblowing workshop or party. You can just do one person or two for date night or a group for an event or party. For glassblowing workshops or parties at Sanctuary Glass Studio we ask that you do not wear open toed shoes and you wear natural fabrics. Our studio has air conditioning, but when you are standing in front of the furnace it can be a bit warm, so dress accordingly. You can select from 20 different items and the costs is between $48 and $78 depending on the item you select. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes per person and you get to do about 50% of the work. It is one person at a time and your guest(s) can watch you make the glass artwork until it is their turn. When you make a reservation it will ask you to select an item, but if you get to the studio and decide you want to change to another item that is ok. We only hold you reservation on your credit card. We only charge your card once you have created your item. 

 

You will get to design the glass artwork you create, gather the glass, heat it, blow the glass, twist it and paddle it. Once you have created the glass it will need to stay overnight in our kiln. We bring the temperature down about 50 degrees an hour until the glass is annealed. When you come the next day to pick it up we will have it in our beautiful gift bag with tissue. Our paint parties last 2 hours. Go to sanctuarypaintparty.com and select your

design and call us at 504-390-4377 to book your party. We will supply aprons,

canvas, paint brushes and paints. We need six or more to book a party.

 

Want to make it a party! Feel free to bring in your drinks and food and any

decorations. We also have caterers if you want us to help plan your party. If its a kids party ask us about sand art and face painting, which can be added to create a wonderful experience.
